My Summer Drink Lineup (Featuring the Only Ingredient That Actually Matters)

Every summer I tell myself I'm going to get "into mixology." Then reality hits: nobody wants to haul out a blender, a jigger, and four random syrups for a Tuesday afternoon drink. So this summer's drink lineup had one rule. every recipe had to be as easy as pull, pour, peel, sip, with a little bit of flair on top.

Here's what's been in rotation, one for every Twyst flavor.

The Lineup

1. Blue Raspberry Slushie

Blend a Blue Raspberry Twyst into a cup of water with a handful of crushed ice until slushy. Add a splash of lemonade for a nostalgic snow-cone-in-a-cup vibe.

2. Fruit Punch Mocktail Sangria

Mix a Fruit Punch Twyst into sparkling water, then drop in frozen berries and a couple of orange slices. Let it sit five minutes so the fruit chills the drink naturally. Looks fancy, took zero effort.

3. Grape Lollipop "Purple Rain"

Stir a Grape Lollipop Twyst into lemon-lime soda instead of plain water for a fizzy, candy-forward treat. Garnish with a few frozen grapes if you're feeling extra.

4. Peach Ring Iced Tea

Mix a Peach Ring Twyst into a glass of iced black tea. Instant peach tea upgrade with zero added sugar tubs required.

5. Crisp Apple Fizz

Combine a Crisp Apple Twyst with sparkling water and a cinnamon stick for stirring. Tastes like fall crashed summer's party, in the best way.

6. Strawberry Lemonade Stand

Muddle a few fresh strawberries at the bottom of your cup, add water and a Strawberry Lemonade Twyst, stir, and pour over ice. The closest thing to an actual lemonade stand without the folding table.

7. Watermelon Lime Cooler

Mix a Watermelon Lime Twyst into coconut water instead of regular water, then finish with a lime wedge on the rim. Tastes like a beach day even if you're on your apartment balcony.

8. Mango Passionfruit Sunset

Mix a Mango Passionfruit Twyst into water, pour into a glass over ice, then float a splash of orange juice on top and a tiny drizzle of grenadine for a layered sunset look. Almost too pretty to drink. Almost.

The Takeaway

None of these recipes require special equipment, a trip to a specialty store, or more than two minutes of effort, which is exactly the point. Twyst already does the hard part (hydration, electrolytes, BCAAs, vitamins), so all these recipes do is make it feel a little more like summer.
